How can you tell/how do you know when someone is lying to you?

I am not talking about being conned by someone you hardly know.

It would really bother you if someone whom you held dear to your heart is acting funny and your thoughts are nibbling on the idea that the person is lying to you. But there is no evidence and you can't prove yourself wrong... just coincidences after one and another...

How can you confirm that the person is not being true to you?

You have to balance suspicion with cautiousness. Too much suspicion is a bad thing and unless you know something for sure you should not really say anything. Things are not always as they seem.

However, there is an islamic saying that in the future things will be so bad that one would have to be a fool to trust anybody and that those you trust will push you into hell fire.

My advice would be that if it is a close friend then don;t be too suspicious, but if you really don;t know the person then be cautious and don;t fall for traps. I guarantee you now - if you are a female then many guys will, in order to boost their ego, try to win your heart and once they manage to do so they will then go after another girl.

You need to look at the person's behaviour in general and attitude towards other people and not how he/she talks to you only.

Hello N.G

When a person lies U can tell by their face expression. As they start talking they find it difficult to find the words. They start hesitating. In the other hand professional liers talk non stop thats when U can bet from 100% that person is only speaking 10% of the truth.

Never be suspicious just go along with it, that way it will be easier to find out. Play around with the person thats playing around with U.
