Hi ashik.

It's great that you have aspirations of becoming more knowledgeable about your roots.

I think you shouldn't restrict yourself to just the female point of view unless you have other intentions.

I'm sure many of the ppl would help you in this matter. The first matter that is.

Just wondering whether your Knick was an indication of what you are here for?

Smile THanks!!

Well, I guess there's nothing wrong if a guy help me out also, but I like talking to females more than males. But if any can help me, I'll be real thankful. I'm lost when it comes to Bangaldesh. I want to go and visit Bangladesh one day, but I can't go unless I don't know any information. So if anyone can help me, It would be a great deed!!!

It may help if you establish some contact with relatives in Bangladesh.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I think it would be easier if you had specific questions. There are many web sites which describe the beauty and history of bangladesh but I suppose that is not what you want to know.

Bangladesh is quite a strongly religious place where many more ppl are turning to Islam. The ppl are generally nice and treat foreignors with a smile. They are perhaps more like to the ppl in New York than to ppl in the UK with regards to the city life. You'll see many ppl screaming at each oither on the roads and generally being unkind to other road users.

I think there is a general feeling of low esteem in Bangladesh as they seem to think that others in wealthier countries are better than them. However, they do like to have fun and within the close family unit you will feel very much at home.

Generally female relatives like to play practical jokes with male relatives and is a very good atmosphere. I think that you would learn a lot about ppl in bangladesh if you spent a little time with a family in bangladesh. They are a lot more out going generally than ppl in the UK.

I think that the family atmosphere would be a most fulfilling experience for you. A family would not just consist of your brothers and sister. But also include grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins (whom would be considered as brothers/sisters) and also further extended by marriages. You would never have a time to yourself as the constant chatter will have you engaged.

Yep. Much recommended. The most beautiful part of bangladesh is the FAMILY.
