I pray that you are all well.

All of you will by now be aware Insha Allah of the events of Manchester University in the last week, and the events to come in the next week. For those of you who do not: we have submitted a motion to the Students Union asking for a condemnation of the Israeli government for their human rights abuses against the Palestinians. Over the last week we have been faced with the sternest opposition imaginable. The national Zionist network has mobilised against us, and have come out with every form of lie, and deceit to ensure that this motion is not passed. They claim that we wish to close down the Jewish Society, even though the JSoc isn't mentioned in the motion at all.

They will go to any lengths to get there ends. No fewer then 4 National Jewish Websites are organising a Nationwide Zionist mobilisation. Further we can look to the Jewish Chronicle website, or the Totally Jewish website for evidence of this. The four websites that I know of are these, there may be more. The most disgraceful thing is, all their articles are full of lies.

So far not one Muslim website has done the same for us. Make no mistake brothers and sisters, if this motion is passed on Wednesday it will be an absolutely massive achievement. We know that the
opposition will use the tactics of deceit and spin, and lies, to get their ends. It is in their nature. According to the UJS it is the biggest threat the students have faced in 5 years. So it will be a major victory if we win.

Many of you have asked what you can do to help us. Let me show you a quote from the website of the Union of Jewish Students:

'UJS are trying to get as many people as possible to come to Manchester and show their support on Wednesday. It's Manchester now, it could be your Jsoc next. If you want to know how you can help students in Manchester please call the UJS office on:'

On Wednesday, we are expecting hundreds of opponents of the motion to be here from around the country. They will be trying their utmost to intimidate people to make sure that the motion does not get through. We are in danger of being outnumbered on the day.

The organisers of the motion are thus, asking all of you from around the country to come to Manchester to show your support for the motion. We need you all here on:

Wednesday at 9.00am at the University of Manchester. There's a coach leaving from near Imperial College. Contact us for details.

Further, we ask you to inform all of your contacts of our needs for your support. Without the mass support for the motion from around the country we are in severe danger of being overwhelmed on the day and losing out on this great opportunity. Their mass presence will no doubt have a great effect on the outcome of the motion, despite the fact that they cannot enter the auditorium. We don't need you here next year, not next month, but this WEDNESDAY.

This is in the words of the UJS 'the biggest event on campus in a decade'. We need your support. Please be there for us, and help us to show our opponents that we will stand as one for what we believe in. If they can make the journey, then I'm sure that it should be easier for us, as we have the truth on our side. Lets make sure that this chance does not pass us by.

Why don't the Muslim students depart the UK?

I mean what can you hope to learn in a modern 21st century democratic rational Western country when the Muslim religion has not advanced beyond an irrational, emotional, mysticial 13th century society.

True...The Islamic influence on Western Civilization was great in the early Middle Ages -- Islam was especially helpful in saving the works of the world's first scientist, Aristotle -- The Master of Them That Know...

But then Islam went into decline, and became oppressive, irrational and lost in its way in the fog of mysticism ...and the the West became rational, scientific and democratic.

What was best in Islam lives on in Western Civilization.
