World's smallest country welcomes new Citizens

Founded in 1981, and with Citizens resident in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Ghana, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, Thailand and the United States, the Empire of Atlantium is the world's smallest independent sovereign state, located just over 1km from the centre of Sydney, Australia.

Atlantium operates according to principles of secular, pluralistic, liberal, social democratic republican monarchy.

We are a group of people abiding by the laws of the countries in which we reside, but who also seek to use the benefits of technology to build a new, supra-national community of Citizens committed to human rights, democracy and the free exchange of ideas at a global level.

We are based in Sydney, but our sovereignty is effectively supra-territorial, and we invite any people who are seriously interested in contributing in a positive way to consider joining us.

There is no charge whatsoever for participation in Atlantium, and we have no religious affiliation.
