ASSALAM ALAIKUM EVERYBODY,
Before visiting Bangladesh I was much upset after reading various messages on this site discouraging to visit. But when I was there in August, contrarily, I found it a good place. Nice people. Fortunately the weather was also pleasant.
I was in Dhaka. It's a good place until you are in Uttara, Gulshan, Banani, Bari Dhara etc. Once you are out to the old town, the life really becomes miserable.High polloution, long traffic jam, hell of cycle rickshaws, negligience of traffic police, undeveloped colonies without civilized facilities... oh my Allah, the life there is terrible. What I observed is those who are rich are really very very rich and those who are poor, they are poor to the earth. Government must do something for the welfare of these poor people.
Anyway the whoe visit was a pleasant experience and I might visit this place once again
Before I end, I must complain about the immigration personnel who lack in communication skills, knowledge about their own rules and regulations and pleasant behaviour
