Hi everybody out there

I'm trying to set up an organisation to increase student communication between British and Bangladeshi students in terms of traditional, cultural, academic and other aspects. My friends in Bangladesh are helping me in every way, but to set it up, in the UK I need help from the students in the UK. We have named this organisation the 'Association of Brititish Bangladeshi Students'(ABBS).

As this is my first attempt in doing such a thing I don't really know how to proceed in setting it up.

I would therefore request all the british students to help me. At the moment what I mostly need is ideas from you people on how to go on with it (i.e. in terms of registering, financing and on other relevant establishment issues). I also need you people to become members and also be part of the advisory committe.

So everyone out there please contact me if you are willing to help and to get involved, every kind of help will be appreciated.

My name is Nasir I'm doing a degree in Business Management and Accounting at University College Suffolk (University of East Anglia) Ipswich, UK. You can e-mail me at Nassa16@aol.com with your ideas and advice.

I also need advisor's who may not be students but are willing to help. So everyone out there no matter who you are if you have ideas and think you can help me please, please contact me.
Thanks to everyone

Nasir

Dear Selina
Salaam and regards
You are the first one to reply, thank you very much for your interest. It does not matter that you are not a student. I need every kind of help I can possibly get. As I said you can be one of the members of the advisory committee. The members of the advisory committee are basically the foundation. As I'm, myself new to this I would really appreciate your ideas and any kind of advise.

I'm planning to send out membership forms to everyone interested, and as soon as i get it done you will be the first one to receive it. Please let me know what you are currently doing and also foreward any ideas which you may have. The advisory committe will consist of 7-10 people and they will guide ABBS 'Association of British Bangladeshi Students'. I would be really grateful if you agree to become the first one. You could also get other people involved whom you think would be interested, students or non-students.

Regarding to the 26th of March me and a friend of mine distributed a newsletter on behalf of ABBS (it was the first ABBS newsletter). As it was the first step we only had 2 articles on it, one written by myself and the other by my friend. The only place we were able to distribute those was the Queen Marry College in London. Although many people responded no one actually wanted to get fully involved.

Maybe I don't know how to go on about it, which why progress is so slow. Therefore I really really need help from everyone on how to make it worthwhile.

You don't know how happy you made by responding, i have to thank you again 'you are a very considerate person i must say, thank you'.

My friends in Bangladesh have done a lot regarding to this, they've already managed to register it and have also formed an advisory committee. Although I was the one to set it up the last time I was in Bangladesh, they have manged to do more work in Bangladesh then I have in the UK.

Please get back to me with your ideas. You can either reply back on Bangladesh Open Board or you can write to me on Nassa16@aol.com.

Bye and take care
best wishes and regards
Allah Hafez
