So You Care About Bangladesh ?

Greetings to all
I am a new comer to this site and have seen there are lot of passionate talk about Bangladesh thats good, but what are you exactly doing about the problems in Bangladesh. There is no point blaming others e.g. India and the West. Every individual or country will always do what is good for it self so why don't we do what is good for our country.
Its time we stopped being Arm Chair Intellectuals and stop saying "oh forget about Bangladesh, they are all theives" if everyone says the same thing then who is the theive?

What I can tell you is that the politicians will not do much for the country and the people becasue they are selfish parasites sucking peoples blood and wealth, the outsider who go to do somethings they do so for their own ulterior motives, so it is up to us, Yes people like you and me to do something which will benefit the people of Bangladesh.

I am sick and tired of people making big but empty talks, I am sick and tired of politicians who come and take ££££££ for their own pockets and their party elections, sick and tired of the 'religious leaders' who come over here lecture, and raise £££££££ in donations but most of it ending up in their own pockets (of-course some may be genuine).

Beleive me in my opinion there are no significant party in Bangladesh that sincerly cares for the country or its people be they secular or 'Islamist'.

I grew up in this country but also feel passionately for my motherland, specially since the people are so poor and helpless. I a have duty and responsibility towrds my fello countrymen and the human race in general.

It is with these in mind that I with some good friends have set up a charity organisation called the Green Crescent based in Bangladesh and the UK. (check the website)

I am not saying we will solve all the Bangaldeshi problem through this charity but at least it is a start and at least I am not of those Arm Chair Intellectuals who do nothing but critise others for every little insignificant thing and do nothing about it themselves.

I urge you all dear brothers, sisters and friends, cut all the crapp and start helping your brother and sisters over in Bangladesh.
