Question

I have a friend who is about to take their test next week.
So for those of you who have already passed, do u have any tips to help.

How many people passed first time, I guess its not going to be too many by looking at past statistics.

Thanxs

Ozz

I passed first time (only took 9 lessons, I was 17 and 29 days). I set this as a target for my friends.

On a more serious note,

Ask your friend to take it very steady, carry out the manoeuvre's very slowly.
Always look at the mirror, that is a common one for failure.
Take her time, don't tush into anything.
Keep her eye on the road all the time, be aware of what other motorists are doing.

Pray in the morning before going for the test.

Being nervous is normal, if she isn't nervous then she should be worried.

Keep speed down, keep a good distance from the car in front.

Mirror
Signal
Manoeuvre

Good Luck, I hope she /he does pass.

Assalamualikum
My advise for anyone taking there driving test would be that, firstly pray to Allah, secondly be patient since driving test is not the end of the world, (it has been exactly a month since today, i have passsed my test first time and i was sooooo nervous and still feeling the panic), and thirdly when u are doing the test donot even think of the fact that u are in test and try to imagine u are driving with a friend or family (it has worked for me), and laast thing donot go to the test in empty stomack and donot forget to take ur documentry with you when you go for the test,
good luck and may Allah help you...........
Allah Hafez
