MATING vs. LOVE-MAKING...

Beasts, i.e. all animals barring mankind, have limited `power of mind' (ability to think / abstract), they don't demonstrate any discriminating attitude in their sexual conduct. Concept of virginity, incest etc. does not seem to exist in their realm. Lo! nature has even provided a mating season when adult beasts are driven to seek out opposite sexes to mate; barring the gender of the beast, no other criteria matter so far as `mating' of beasts is concerned. Further, I've not yet heard of homosexual or lesbian beast(s).

Mankind is a species altogether different from other species in animal kingdom. It is humanbeing's `power of mind', its ability to think, abstract - an ability without limits - along with its potent memory bank that maketh all the difference. The emotions of love, pride etc. are felt and expressed by humanbeings in colourful ways.

Ego is attributed to humanbeings only. It's in the character of an egoist person - irrespective gender - to seek out a virgin person of opposite sex to strike a romantic liaison culminating in love-making. This ego has led mankind to invent the instituion of marriage - an expression of mutual and consentual (=volitional)loyalty to each other between two persons of opposite sexes.

Nature does not prescribe a "mating-season" for homosapiens. It is human's frame of mind / mood (state of mind) that leads one to seek love. Surely, a person may derive inspiration from `nature's season' for effecting such a `mood', but that may turn out to be only one condition / factor; there are other conditions - complex in nature - that need to be simultaneously met before a person may succeed in its endeavour of love.

It's a humanbeing that also makes compromises under the circumstance when a `virgin' is not available for liaison. Humanbeing does rationalise that: romantic love with another `experienced' person is possible.

It is pertinent to note that: `Loving' (state of mind) precedes `making love' (physical action). Mankind has rightly coined the phrase `love-making' !!!
