Why are Bengali Men so short?

Sorry if this offends you men but you guys are generally shorter than others. I understand the whole biological viewpoint, but there has to be other reasons, is it something you eat or what?

What is the average height of a Bengali man? How tall are you guys,actually How tall are you girls? Is it just that Bengali people are short?

I'm not saying that Bengali people don't have a great personality, I'm just saying they tend to be short and I wanna know reasons as to why?- so don't no one go biting my head off!

HEY!! wE AGREE!! totally. Farhana is pretty tall at 5ft 4in. and i am 4ft. 11in...."petite" is the nice way of putting it. So, how bout you?

Naaaah..the above is a load of bol***ks (excuse the language), I know what u mean though, the funny thing is my parents are small. Mum stands @ 4ft11", Dad stands @ 5ft5", however me and my brothers are quite tall, well my brother is, he stands at 6ft3".
I myself scrape it to 5ft11". But when i walk down bricklane, i feel as though I've followed the yellow brick road to the land of the munchkins in that film 'Wizard of Oz'.

It sounds really funny to me that a bunch of people are talking and crying about height of Bengali people.
Why? You are not finding somebody as tall as you. May be you need someone little bit taller than you.
Suggestions:"I know size does matter to you.But try to look inside too.Because it is inside of a person that makes him/her tall or short(Hope you have eyes too).Good luck."

I'm 5ft6", my family are generally quiet tall for a Bengali family, the only tall Bengali men I know are my brothers who are 6ft and over.

Empirically speaking, largely : Intellect is inversely proportional to the height / size - for Asian region. Just look at Afgans, and get convinced !
The question is: what do you want...`gray matter' or the `size' ?
