Erdogan – Making of a Muslim Attaturk
On Sunday 58% of Turks who took part in the referendum – gave the ruling party AKP the Constitutional powers to make necessary amendments to the existing Kemalist Constitution based on secularism and prominent role to the military as the ‘Guardian of Kemalism’. This is Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s fourth democratic victory since AkP won national elections in 2002. His Justice and Development Party (AKP) has won two general elections and two referenda – all with sweeping victories.
Yesterday, voters overwhelmingly approved the referendum initiated by Erdogan’s Islamic-oriented Justice and Development Party. The constitutional measures passed give the government wide-ranging power to exert control over the military and judiciary, both traditional bulwarks of the country’s secularism. On October 29, 1923, Gen. Mustafa Kemal declared Turkey a republic and thus ended over 600 years of glorious Ottoman Empire. Mustafa embarked upon his Crypto-Jewish crusade to destroy Islamic values and the Arabic language within the Turkish society – in order to turn Turkey into another Judeo-Christian western country. However, after 80-year of successive Turkish military and secular governments – Turkey is still not welcomed within the European Union because of its Islamic roots. The referendum has given AKP, a democratically elected government, the necessary Constitutional powers over the Kemalist-controlled Turkish Army and the Judiciary. This has raised concerns in Tel Aviv – as now AKP government can arrest and drag the high-ranking military officials involved in the military coups against Erdogan’s government into the courts. Some of these officers are known for their intimate connections with the Israeli army and the intelligence agency Mossad. The referendum results also confirm that AKP will certaily be winning the coming general election in July 2011. If this happens, Erdogan will become the longest-serving, democratically elected and more powerful Turkish leader since Gen. Mutafa Kemal (aka Attaturk) whose base of power was the military controlled by the Crypto-Jewish Young Turk Movement. If re-elected in July 2011 – Erdogan would have the opportunity to address the genuine grienances of the Kurd minority and close this window once for all – which is being exploited by Israel and its Jewish lobby network in the West. Israeli political analyst Alon Liel wrote in the daily Ha’aretz: “Fears that Erdogan will turn the country into an Iranian-style Islamic republic are unfounded. Support for the prime minister rests not only on ideology but also on modernization and the prosperity he has helped bring”. However, he admitted that Erdogan will remain hated by Israelis, the western leaders and the secularist elite within the country who are concentrated in the Army, Judiciary and the Universities. “But he is beloved by Turkey’s poorer, devout periphery,” said Alon.
