The Canadian teenager, Omar Khadr, who was captured by US collaborators, Northern alliance, at the age of 15 - has been kept inside the notorious Guantanamo Camp - may have been celebrating his 22nd birthday today with his family and friends - had he been a free man.
The UN Convention on the Rights of Child says - “The Juvenile prisoners (under 18 years of age) require special protection”. Has Omar Khadr received those “special protections” during that last seven years of his confinement?
