Kitha bah bala ni?

I read about this afew days ago. Its a really sad case, especially when children are involved. I've been depressed and often thought of topping myself but would never take someone else with me. But being in that state she probably couldn't think clearly.

Depression doesn't mean one must end up perpetrating such cowardly acts of suicide. One can always pray and be patient and seek help from Our God, the Almighty Allah. I hate people who take their own lives for the fear of living!

She wasn't a Muslim. Its was practised in Hindusim, but don't know if suicide is seen as a sin in Sikhism. I agree that suicide is not the answer, but when you've been backed into a corner and you can see no way out of it apart from death then its not suprising that people do. Its not something people do lightly, killing yourself goes against all of your survival instincts.

I think she killed her children out of love. She didn't want to leave them behind where they may have suffered the same as she did. She may have thought they'd find peace the same way she was. I'm not agreeing with her actions. But this is has happened before and parents have left notes explaining why they took the kids with them.

There was a case in Oldham when a father put some sleeping pills in his childrens drinks and then put a hose pipe from the exhaust through the car windows.

Your point well taken
But I think time cures all things one must stay in this world and fight the battle of life instead of running away cowardly by suicide! Living is more dangerous than dying!

Time is onething Mrs Sidhu doesn't have. Living is dangerous, but it takes alot to be able to end your own life. I'm sure she didn't do it lightly. Different people have different pain/trauma thresholds they can tolerate. Maybe nobody could understand her unless they know what is was like to have been her. Thats something we should be greatful about.

At the end of the day, a mother took her own life aswell as her childrens. No woman in her right mind would do such a thing.
