I liked that song too, I heard it for the first time in 2000 I think.

The hospital didn't specifically do Bengali food, it was an a curry (like what you'll get in a restaurant). I think you weren't given the option of "Asian" food because the hospital might have been in a "White" area.

I was at Bradford Royal Infirmary so there were lots of other Asians there - one guy was there coz someone had broken his nose, jaw and cheek bone. His face looked horrible (but it might have been like that anyway ). Thats why the hospital tries to cater for people by offering alternatives.

it was kings college in london, and there was another bengali boy in my ward who had the same thing, so im assuming there were quite a few there in the whole hospital.

In kings college there's be quite a mix of peopl, while in BRI there's alot of Asians.

Anyway how did you and that Bengali boy manage to get the same thing?
