RETURN OF THE BOY BANDS

was reading this article in our newspaper the other day. said somthn round the lines of this:

she apparently figured that boy bands, tho the music is pretty crapped up, should return & take the leading role for lil kids again. now theyre all into music by ppl such as 50 & beyonce. theyre music is pretty xplicit & is all about sex, looks, figure etc. where as w/boy bands they sent messages like 'i dont care who you are...what uve done, as long as u luv me'. all their gals were dressed properly, they encouraged pure, genuine luv, etc.

i had to agree with that bit.

Fair enough Madame..............depends how you look at them really. I mean fair enough, they do tend to have their ways of looking good and making younger people believe in their good natures.....

......unfortunately I think that they don't encourage Love, I think they encourage Free Love, and there is quite a difference. Most of the guys don't even do anything... lol ... in a group of 5 they have 1 singing, the rest just move about on their feet and go "aa aaa aaaaaahhhhhHHHHH" I think they are bad role models myself, but each to their own

I know I know, you think I'm jealous coz they get lots of women screaming at them, but you'd be wrong....

Excuse me but which boy-band you’re talking about?…..Just tell me the name and I’ll show you all of them can sing ….yeah, may be 1 or 2 are the genuine vocalists but all of them do sing in various songs time to time……and by the way do you know how hard “the making of” a boy-band is? All the members go through several auditions before they are finally selected ….so how come you tell that? all of them are talented and all of them can sing….
I need to agree with the point of amee_patla_na here…….the boy-bands are specialist in that kinda music what represents the whole human psychology….not merely sex or something like that….too bad these bands often breaks-up after some successive successful years ....for several reasons…..…..and people forget their contributions in music world …
And you Marawak_3…..thanks for being honest atleast ….that you’re zealous about boy-bands…..Causes envy right? I’ve always seem most of boys don’t like them…….simply because the girls like them. Even I can bet your gf likes a boy-band (or x-boy-band) too

i think boybands do definetly send outa more positive message then the kinda music i listen to


i dont like boybands though, because very rarely do i listen to a song of theres and think "hey this is quite good"...but ill admit i do like a couple of songs now and then...thats what its all about, if a song gives me a eargasm, from whatever genre, then ill listen to it but like i said very rarely does boyband music do that for me

i dont think boybands are anything to be jealous of, if its a 5 man group, usually 1 is who majority of the female fans like, and the rest are not as goodlookin as him...look at justin timberlake and nsync....since his gone solo, his been more succesful then when he was with his boys...and he was the leader singer of nsync werent he?

i like justin timberlakes song ....the one on my signature, i will play that **** in my car and not worry bout what no 1 thinks...if a song is good, its good, no matter who its by...i think alot of guys are ashamed to admit they like some boyband music because its seen as a girl thing, or abit homosexual....whereas im man enough to admit i like some of there songs

wether or not there gay is a issue here, we all know will young is a battyman but he sings like his singin to a lady, and his makin money, thats wot its all about...the money....i dont blame pop artists for ruinin anything, but rapmusic has definetly ruined alot of peoples perspective...just take a look around

they all exploit peoples naivety and lack of knowledge to make money for themselves, the problem is brainless idiots who follow these people as icons
