what does that mean!!! I'v heard it in countless songs but no idea what it means! Is it "Take Life"?

jaan lega means take life

actually it exactly means word for word jaan:life lega:take

so its Life Take...hhmmmm makes no sense this way..

not many of the songs make sense when they're translated word word...infact they sound dumb and u think, oh my god, i listen tot his crap

but then in hindi/urdu, just like in english they're all written poetically and romanticised even the sad ones!!! so they're bound to sound dumb even in the original language.

i came across the maine pyar kiya web apge a little while ago and listened to one of the sonds they translated into english...OMG did it sound DUMB!!! I regretted listening to the hindi version

so many songs shound like wafflin when there translated..its best to leave it as the hindi version..what you dont know...cant make you think your a idiot for going along with it
