Moving to Bangladesh - advice needed

Hi,

I'm moving from the UK to Bangladesh around 1st June. Can anyone help me out with the cost of accomodation in Dhaka. I'd be looking for an appartment/house with two bedrooms.

I'd also like to know if my household goods will be taxed when I bring them into the country. Has anyone experience of relocating to Bangladesh in this regard?

Are there any surprises relocaters can warn me about?

I can tell you one thing. You must do a big research before you move. There are a lot of issues ith working permits and etc

Actually I am moving to Bangladesh for good from USA. I believe the place is only as good as what is in the eye of the beholder. Bengali's are normal rather than everyone here in America. Peace and quiet is better than money anyday .
