used to quite a lot. Now don't have them within my reach. Humayun Ahmed, Jafar Iqbal, Sunil, Shirshendu, Satyjit Ray, Shahriar Kabir, etc. Once in a while an Imdad Milon and an Ashutosh. Have read some Shomoresh ones also. Used to read Sheba also. Had quite a collection. M.R., Tin Goyenda, Western mostly. They are mostly translations of English novels anyway.

Wow, I never really thought there were bangla novels, it may sound weird and all, but I guess this shows how sheltered we are here in the west, not seeing anything but what is around us...but now that I think of it, I remmber going to the public libary with my dada when I was small and he would take out books written in Bangla. So I know where I live, we have a huge selection of novels in Bangla, so if any of you come to visit, you can read them well you are here...
