Hello mhnew...
If I sounded like chauvinistic gimp, I apologise. That was not what I intended, quite the contrary actually... If my memory serves me correctly the heroines of yester-year were anything but timid. An example being Grace Kelly in rear window, braving the strangers house; or Audrey Hepburn in the aformentioned Roman Holiday, who practically carried the whole film herself. Anyway, my only complaint is your lack of compassion for Mithun. Give the guy a break, I know he's old but do you know anyone else who can swing their hips and dance with such unashamed fair as him? *s* |

You are right.
Got to have compassion for him. After all, his movie industry releases 23 movies a year. That's almost 2 every month. Got to be proud of this Barishaila Bangalee (yep he was originally from Barisal, Bangladesh). Enough of that. If you know of any good old flicks that would be realy worth spending money on let me know. ALso, anyone in Canada, let me know if any of the old ones are being shown on Cable. Take care.
