All three together? They seem to be quite arty films, i don't think i could watch them one after another, i'll need some time to digest the stories.

rai is a master of film makers.did u know he had an oscar for best forign film!!!!
he is a genius.

hes films are very art house if you like.consentrating on character imagery and srory than special effects and dramatisation.

hes apu trilogy is fantastic. if u like art house movies you will love it.
its about a boy (apu) who grows up .
basic story but the trial and tribulations of this boy is wonderful. excellent direction from a superb visual master. did u know that martin scosse loves his pictures and regdes then as classics.

he is such a perfectionist he didnt shoot fake rain in a rain scene but waited for ti to rain so that he could capture the true romance of the dropletts.

I have seen Apur Sansar.

This is the last film of Apu trilogy, in which Apu, now a man, stumbles into marriage with girl he never saw before. The unions lead idyllic love, but then tragedy.

I liked this film very much. Soumitra Cahtterjee, Sharmila tagore was superb.
