Ladies and Gentlemen, first consider the following:
1. Shelly thought: love died when put under restraint and governed by law. 2. Bernard Shaw felt: marriage was un-willingly endured by men and passionately desired by women. 3. Romain Rolland wrote: "A married man is no more than half a man". 4. Kipling felt: Captain Gadsby of the Pink Hussars became a good husband but a mediocre officer after marriage. 5. Byron said: women were easier to die for than to live with. 6. La Rochefoucauld concluded: there were some good marriages, but no delightful ones. Well modern ladies, you have noted how some of the giant of men spoke of the `minds' of men. What are your views on the issue???? And Gentlemen, to what extent do you agree or disagree with the underlying theme (marriage robs a romantic liaison of love)??? |
