looking for book

ok im probably being a bit optimistic here cos im looking for a book, however ive forgoten the name of the author and the name of the book.

all i know is that its story set in aldgate in one of the call offices. there are two main characters a bangali girl who owns the shop and another banglai girl who works there.

the owner is quite type the employee is a wild type

i read a review of the book once and it was for sale at waterstones and i remeber thinking id pick it up but now i cant remeber what it was, any ideas anyone?
