What a cool film man

Great acting, great story and nice lead song by sukhwinder too

The story with a girl who was abused as a child by her Fupa was sad but really well shown - and the worst thing is that it happens so much

And i gotta say that Nasseruddin Shah was amazing, what a kewl actor man

Salaam

It was a good story. Artsy..

Yet have to say, too much swearing.. And the late night meeting between the 2nd cousins, was simply put stupid. Not at all relevant to the storyline.

Is it me or are the clothes really disappearing from this movies?

Monsoon Wedding, like you all say is a good film, good music and all. The story is definitely something different, and when i saw it, it was like this is a spy camera in the lives of this family who are going about their lives as any one of us would.
And of course, naseer is one of the best there is.

Cool

a great film! I totally agree

I thought it as a really good insight into the lives of the family - not an incredibly rich or really poor family, just average!

Naseruddin Shah was good, and so was the supporting cast too!

I agree that there is too much swearing, but in a film like this I think it added to the reality of the film, I mean it wasnt overboard, but just what you would expect

And clothes? Well man, if u visit India no and then you would see that girls are indeed wearin less and less (i was there last summer)

Kewl Film!
