Unhappy

Hi guys, my mate is pakistani (understands urdu) but he wants to learn sylheti. He's not bothered about knowing how to write it, he just wants to be able to speak it fluently. I've noticed alot of the nouns are similar between the two languages, but the grammer and sentence structure is different. Can you give me details of where he could buy books, tapes/cd-roms to learn sylheti or even take classes in London or in Chicago (since he's moving over there for a couple of years soon).
Hope you can help me, thanks!

my tips to learnin sylheti....

1, learn all the swears and there meanins (trust me: theres loadz!)

2, hang around wiv loadza bengalis, there bound to cuss and chat abt u in bengali, you'll stress so much abt wot theyre sayin that youy'll start to pik it up.

this method works.

Mate, tell to your friend that he should go ahead step by step. He doesn't know how to speak Bengali. How come he wants to jump over to sylethi straight way?
