Sorry I can't realy help but I do know that in Bangladesh the most popular girls name was Shirin and I don't know if it still is.

Why? - Just curiosity.
And i noticed that some of you use your real
names, and some use made up names. So I started
to be really curios to know which are
"real" names as I don't understand your
language (yet).

I've been thinking that if there's really
a life after death --- then I choose myself
a Bangladeshi name if someone of
them sounds good.

So arabic names are popular in all countries
where the majority are muslims.

Of these I've heard Shirin before.
Did it mean sweet or beautiful?
Does someone know this?
And the other names, does anyone know
what they mean?

In Iran I've heard they give everyone names
that have a meaning.
A boy could be "the winner" and a girl
"happy".
Shows sense of humour I think --- otherwise
culture in muslim countries less joyful,
or is it?

And I am not angry on u people who write
here, u r using your brains, that's why u write!
I am angry on the world that
has very little justice. I am angry
on analphabetism, lack of freedom, lack of
education, lack of human rights... the list goes on.

By the way, is anyone of u member of
amnesty international?
They have a campaign now here in
Finland in order to get new members.
Torture is going on in 150 countries.
And just because people want to think
own way, and speak freely.
