Is bengali harder or english ?

All my life I have easily spoken bengali, without any trouble at all. To me bengali was always easy to me. But now when I go to my school, my teacher says that english is the hardest language in the world!

To me this is very, very confusing. I have always hard from my parents that bengali is a really hard language. But on the other hand my teacher says that english is way harder then english. Who is correct?

this can be either way, for one thing though English is DEFINATLY NOT the hardest language. English is easy because it's very standerd and easy to learn but in bangla each word has a sound and you use that sound to spell a word. Not the same for English so you have to memorise the spelling and it's easier to make mistakes.

French is one of the hardest language because the verbs are complicated and every THING has a gender even a chair. You have to memorizr the gender of each object whereias in English it's just "it".

What it all depends on how hard it will be for you is how soon you start to learn it, if it's your mother toung, if everyone around you speakes that language.

To me learning bangla was way harder than learning English.

However, it depends on you, your surrounding, family etc.

I might agree with you about the fact that English is easier then Bangali. But french hard.

I really don't think, that is possible. I mean in Canada, we can easily learn French, because it's easy. In some cases English is way harder then French.

Bangali is one of the hardest language to learn but very easy to forget. I'm already startin to forget Bangali but still kinds know how to read and write.

Arabic is actually supposed 2 b the hardest language I think or is it Latin?I've been trying 2 learn Bangla from those Teach yourself Bengali books and I think it's ok.

English is WAY easier then french, give ONE exsample where english is harder then french!
