I wasn't born there though. But I have 4.5 years experience living there. I vaguely remember somethings. But I can tell you that I write better than you, I have my grade 4 certificate from there. When my younger brother reads bookd it sounds sooooo funny. My family & relatives starts laughing & he gets discouraged more & in turn he gets even funnier accent every year. My parents gave me the task to polish his bangla reading & writing skils whenever I am free. I don't understand how he can be so louzy at it? He's only a year younger than me. Maybe those books & newspapers that I read everyweek has some effect in this.

i learned to read n write bengali durin my GCSE, where i was predicted a pass n mashallah did exceedingly well n got a grade A!! no thanks to my teach who underestimated me! my parents feel its essential to know it otherwise you get dissed in Desh??!!!

i like writing in bengali but it comes out messy.
