Language would help you to earn

As a Bangladeshi you should know grammatically corrected Bangla. But others languages would help you very much for development of your professional life. If any one knows English fluently then he/she will get privilege to be employed all over the world. The 2nd language would be Arabic as a Muslims I think and 3rd is English as International language. If any one hope to get job in Middle East then Hindi/Urdu is must to know as a 3rd language (after English). Most people learn Malay to get job in Malaysia and Korean language is compulsory to get job in South Korea. The Korean Govt took decision to hire those employees from Bangladesh who know Korean language.

I think it should be the co-official language. If we keep on crying for everything to be bangla then we're not going to go far. the whole world speaks English not Bangla. The two co-official languages of Bangladesh should be English and Bangla.

As for Hindi/Urdu that language should be offered in Bangladeshi universities because even here in the USA you're life is so much easier if you nkow Hindi/Urdu. I'm learning Urdu otherwise you're gonna have a tough time with jobs.

Learn English, Urdu, Arabic, Hindi - whatever language you want to learn. But as Bengali speaking person we should try to develop our language more by supporting our potential writers.
