pl. suggests a boy's nick name

Hi,

I'm looking for a suitable nick name for our newborn son. My daughter's nick name is Raka and our only criteria is, his name has to start with 'R'. Could any one suggests anything ?

Why not call your son by the name you have actually given him? I am sure it's nice and all, otherwise you would not have called him what you did

Nicknames are ok, don't have anything against them. I call people by their nicks when I feel like it, but would rather call them by their real name! I have 3-4 that my friends and family gave me, plus a lot more that my other half uses But nobody decided let's come up with a nickname...rather the ones my family uses are just short versions of my name. Maybe you should do the same?

Unfortunately I cannot come up with any nicknames starting with "R", think some of the other members have to help you with that one

how about rahi, rayu or riyad?

i dont get the thing about nics either and everyone in my family is called by their real names..... think my parents have got too many kids to be bothered to come up with nice real names and a nick to match!

when i have kids, i'll probably pick one name for them.... if it is nice enough for me to name them that, then its nice enough for me to call them by it!
