helloooooooo all
i had sum q's abt bangla n where btter 2 ask than in tha language section of BANGLADESH.COM!!!

neways, i was wondering, u kno how u say, "da'at majow" (brush teeth), why cant u say "chool majow?" (brush hair)


and if u say "chool ashrow" (brush hair) cant u say "da'at ashrow?"

yea, i kno, im not very err...educated on bangla but AHHH im learning...so help me out.....

Smile Interesting Question...
I think it's because 'da'at majow' has connotations of cleaning your teeth.

Whereas chool 'ashraw'has connotations of making the hair look good.

Thats my best answer.

i duno my grandpa says, "daat majow" means scrub teeth...and u dont scrub ur hair...correct?

but i still dont understand the "chool asrow" part
