!!!!!

Pardon the expression, but isn't the way in which women are treated absolute bull****??!! Facts:

1)Men cannot live without women.
2)Women are more reliable.
3)Who in the world is more important than a mother?

I think women are underappreciated and deserve a better chance - what do you think?

Thumbs up

I agree with you brother/sister. Infact women live longer than men. Maybe the guys should start getting their acts together if they want the women to out in a good for them to god - and that includes me.

Question

I'm surprised this hasn't turned into a heated debate - I would've thought other male members here would disagree with us and perhaps put forward their arguement. hmmmmmm - genuine threads never get the recognition they deserve, no bro?

Unhappy ur rite!

ASW

tell you something bro. you are absolutely right. It seems that everybody is more interested in things that do not affect people; this thread tackles a debate that has gone on for decades......even CENTURIES!!!!!!! I am sure the other males would disagree, but that is due to an inability of open mind. Oh well, their loss

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmutullahi wa barakatuhu!

Islam views men and women as equal before Allah and it says that men and women were "created of a single soul" (4:1, 39:6)

In MANY CULTURES women have been and are still subjected to all sorts of abuses from chauvinistic men.

This is very sad where particularly these people take up Islam as their religion. The full principles of Islam have not overcome their male chauvinism.

Islam specifies the the rights of a woman to be respected. Allah (swt) (through the Quran) and the Prophet (pbuh) have said to men that misuse and abuse of women is wrong! The Quran asks Muslims to treat women kindly (4:19)

In Islam, women have a very important place in society and holds us in high esteem.

The Propehet Mohammed (pbuh) said,

"Paradise lies at the feet of your mothers."

"O people, your wives have certain rights over you and you have certain rights over them. Treat them well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and commited helpers."
