Salaam To all Bangali Bhai,
I am from Pakistan, and I dont know why Bangalis hate us.. Hey, I give you guarantee that most of us (Pakistanis) consider Bangladesh as second home, and there is nothing in our mind which goes against them... But I fail to understand, that why Bangali celebrates when they win from Pakistan in Cricket, and their PM says that we had re-memorized 1971... Are u enemy. not a Muslim brother ? Whereas, I remember that when Pakistan was playing Champions series in Bangladesh then after the win, Wasim Akram said, that I am happy to play in my second home.. That is what we all think... But what you guys think, we had doubts.... Anyhow, All of you are welcomed to Pakistan, Any time.. Definitely we will welcome you... Visit great cities here.. Umair Aslam. |

Salaam, I believe a study of history will enlighten you with regards the mutual antagonism which generally exists between Bangladeshi's and Pakistani's. In my opinion, some of the outstanding issues are: 1. The failure of Pakistan to make an unequivical and official state-to-state apology to Bangladesh, for the undeniable atrocities committed by Pak forces in 1971. Thus implicitly denying responsibility. 2. The failure of Pakistan to address the issues regarding the division of financial and material assets worth billions of dollars. Assets to which Bangladesh and Bangali's are entitled to. Both from a moral and legal point of view. 3. The trial of various Pakistani war criminal's in it's armed forces. Criminal's responsible for documented acts of wanton death, destruction, pillage and rape in Bangladesh. 4. The outlandish and widespread fabrication of history taught in Pakistan. Whereby responsibility for the crackdown and resultant genocide is heaped on India and alleged conspiracies. A history in which Bangali's are portrayed as traitor's and Pakistani's attempt to justify their criminal and repugnant actions. This point can be seen on this very forum, where various Pakistani's have come up with all manner of weird and wacky historical untruths to hide the culpability of Pakistan. Including one gentleman who persisted in calling Bangladesh, 'East Pakistan'. This is not conjusive toward warmer mutual relations. Islamic brotherhood doesn't come into this. Matters of justice, truth, responsibility and recompense must take precedence if Bangla-Pak relations are to improve. In any case, Bangladesh will always have to give more attention and weight to our relationship with India. If for no other reason than geographic proximity, a common border, important economic ties and the generally peaceful mindset of our Bangali ppl, and hence our nation.

Salaam,
When we talk peace, then Bengalis say that they are looking forward to make relations with India, and they want apologizing statements from Pakistan (which I remember Musharaf did when he was in Bangladesh).... Sad Sad.... ![]() Anyhow, What i can say is, that I liked Bengalis, and Insha-Allah if I am not wrong, i will keep them liking... Definatily, they also think positively towards Pakistanis,(as we did).... But if they don't, then I will have to tell other Pakistanis that Bengalis are not those who are percieved... They are something else... But I guess, they are good... Are'nt they? ![]() Allah Haifz. (Even if we are enemies(God forbids) , even then we are brothers by relegion) Almuslim |

You know what Almuslim if they don't want to be friends with Pakistan then fine; we need better relations with Russia at the moment which are agreeing to maybe launch our satalites into space, unless China agrees to.
What I dont understand is that what happened in the past........happened. Bdeshis keep bringing up the same pre-historic trash over and over again and frankly its gotton to a point where I have lost respect for some Bdeshis. Sure some of what we did wasn't right, but some go on and on for decades talking about something which we apologized for. It dosen't make any sense to me whatsoever, and I would like to know why your hostilities (sp) towards Pakistan (A Fellow Islamic Nation) is so high, while your realtions with india (A country known for killing Non-hindus) is much better! I all can say is that if Bdesh doesn't wanna be friends with us, its not like its gonna matter. We need better relations with Russia at the moment; we need to make friends with coutries which will make Pakistan prosper. We need countries that will invest in Pakistan; countries like Russia for example. Pakistan already has excellent relations with China, Japan, Korea and the EU. The USA, well they just Im not even gonna go there. The UK and Russia are the countries I wanna see Pakistan have better relations with! I didnt mean anything offensive; this is the general attitude of the general public in Pakistan. I would like to here some of your responses.... Click_123! ![]() |

(I am from Pakistan).
Paki's and B'deshis go along very well. Moshiur Rehman is one of my good friends, and so is Musaifur Rehman. But I feel that even though we have so many things in common, pak and bang have little interest to develop relations with each other, at least at this point of time. So I see we being very good friends on individual basis, but no significant relations politically. |
