ADVICE PLEASE!!! Portable Washing Machine Design

Hi,
I am a student currently designing a portable washing machine for people living in poverty in Bangladesh. After reading articles about the health risks of using the water from polluted rivers, I am designing a product that filters the water, then heats it using a solar thermal heater, and then the clean, hot can be used to wash clothes in a hand powered drum.

I think this product could reduce the health risks of using the water, whilst also reducing the effort required compared to using washboards etc. I thought that it could also benefit people who earn an income from washing clothes.

Any advice on the project would be greatly appreciated, particularly on the cultural aspect. Would people use a product like this? Is there a need for it?
