The following are some interesting facts of history which need to be taken into account while making any opinion about the carnage of Muslims in India.

When was India for the first time politically united under a central government.
Answer
During BC's under Ashoka (a budhist)

Then,

Alauddin Khilji in 1300s (a Muslims)

Then

British (Christians.

Why cant Brahmins unite India.

They are intolerant. Before Islam, a huge Dalit population was victim of their abuse. Now Muslims are.

Red face

yes, India deserves to break into smaller countries, the Hindu religion is full of blood thirsty fanatics, and Gujarat only adds to our national shame.
The Brahmins cannot keep this country together, and only Asoka, Allauddin Khilji and the British have been able to keep India together.
Musharraf should take the matters into his own hands for the protection of Islam. The nukes will send a strong signal to India, and the Hindus, who killed Dalits, and have been killing Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and the Muslims.
There has never been an equal opportunity for any community in India except the Hindus.

ha ha, where are the curse words in my post and you dont even figure once in any line, and i am only stating the sad state my nation is in. Come on dude, for once, i agreed with you, and you find that unacceptable too. I have been successfuly brainwashed.
Lets see, Indian Punjab will break into Khalistan, West Bengal will merge with Bangladesh, Kashmir will go to Pakistan, the naxals will take away Andhra Pradesh, the Northeast will break away too. Is there anything i might have missed, O venerable India expert.

Devoid of logic and full of venom although this venom is induced by the sad affairs of state, India is currently in. Its the wheel of history, my dear friend, things are coming to their logical end. But not the way you just referred to.

Unhappy

Yes 'friend', we are in a sad state of affairs, and the wheel of TIME, and not history, will go on.
"Full of venom.........Devoid of logic"
Sounds a lot familier to the orthodox Islamic activists in the subcontinent that the US Army and Pak Army are after. Your views you post here give one a lot to think about actually, and if you are an Indian Muslim as you say you are, then it is a sorry state of affairs if you feel that way about your nation. But you can't stop me from posting my replies to what you post dude, whether you like it or not, or whether you dismiss them as illogical or extremist. I'm waiting for more posts from you, "friend."

jamalzia, you're ignoring the fact that all three groups who 'united' India did so forcibly, through great bloodshed. So, does that mean the Brahmins lacked the violent instincts of the other three groups?

I'm not too familiar with Indian history though, but I thought it was the Kshatriyas who were the rulers, while Brahmins were priests. I'm probably mistaken, but if someone could clarify this for me?
