Hi everyone! If someone can pleaseeeeee help me with this i will be so greatful!!

After pakistan got independance, east pakistan, as in Bangladesh, fought for its own independance. WHAT WAS THE REASON for this breakdown of pakistan??? WHY did bangladesh want its own country????

This is my opinion: I think it may have been because there exist different forms of nationalism, (linguistic/religious)...the languages differ, also the religions...between pakistan and bangla...These regional differences posed a challenge to a stable, single body country. Also, military rule may have impeded the growth of democracy of pakistan which led to its breakdown.

Well, these are my ideas, so if you could analyze, and be critical of the assumptions i have made behind different forms of nationalism that inform the construction of both pakistan and bangladesh, it would turn into a nice topic of discussion i think, since you guyz all seem so knowledgable. PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME..haha...
