In history , sooner or later , the facts and truth reveals itself , some thing like this happened few weeks earlier in Washington USA.
The state department of United States of America has released some of the official documents regarding 1971 Pak – india war, it also includes a research report negating the rapes and other atrocities done by Pakistan Army in East Pakistan during the 1971 turmoil.
The Research was carried out by Professor Miss Sarmeela Boss , a professor in George Washington University, she spent 3 years in Bangladesh immediately after the 1971 war and met thousands of women to find and verify the rapes done by Pak Army.
The research revealed that all the rapes and other misconducts related to Pak Army were fabricated stories and highly exaggerated and amplified by the indians and the world media, as india was the main source of providing such informations to the world media.
The research report very clearly and categorically mentioned the bad hostile intentions of india to damage the integrity & unity of East and West Pakistan. The research also revealed that the political leadership of East Pakistan exploited and mislead their own citizens becoming the taut and tools of india in order to spoil their own motherland.
The world has seen and the history has recorded, those, who betrayed their own people have been killed miserably in their own house. Isn’t it an ironic fact?????
India can never be a friend of any neighboring country unless the neighboring country is more stronger and power full than india, because it’s the hindu philosophy.
Should we Bangladeshi people learn any lesson out of it and try to see the misserable face of india?????????

I realize that it is possible for some of the information to have been somewhat biased for one side or another. However, I feel that I must point out that the fact that these are information from the State Department of the United States in the 1970’s irks my concern. You see, India was not the United State’s “best friend” back in those days. India was closer to the Soviet Union and was continuing to develop their relations. The level of the US’s disapproval of India at the time is present in this article: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/4633263.stm
President Nixon favoured Pakistan over India and did not want an independent Bangladesh. Therefore, I wouldn’t at all be surprised if the State Department influenced Ms. Boss’s findings.
BTW, what’s with the “hindu philosophy remark”? You’re thread seemed like a good read until this point where you lost all credibility by just throwing around random prejudiced accusations. Every country is out for its own benefits, even Bangladesh! Don’t forget that while some of us call India to be an “evil nation” that is bent on destroying us; there are millions of aboriginals in Bangladesh who can claim the same about the rest of us!
