WHO TOOK THE U-TURN?
A very few could comprehend the Taliban phenomenon - and the hard fact that Pakistan had no problem but the Taliban Rule in Afghanistan - and the continuous smuggling of Talibanism to Pakistan.
And no one in Pakistan could neither deduce the way out or the modus operandi nor it was that easy to tame or can the fast growing taliban factor.
The cancer of Talibanism was so awful that no one could think to discuss its peril, for, for many it was the true Islam, particularly in NWFP and Balochistan - and they were naming and specifying it with renaissance of Islam. Beyond everything else Afghanistan was a very spacious, suitable, secured, easily accessible and glorious heaven for the criminals of all sorts, right from petty run away outlaws of Pakistan to the world class most notorious offenders. The most distressing and the dreadful aspect of the talibanisation phenomenon in Afghanistan and its smuggling to Pakistan was that by and large the overwhelming majority of Pushtuns were equating the mutilation and humiliation of Islam by the brutal hands of Taliban to the renaissance of Islam - and the hell of Afghanistan to heaven. The story of Taliban phenomenon is very long and to expose the same is not my purpose, though for many reason I was eyewitness - but what I want to convey is that those who were at the helm of affairs in Pakistan, were unable to sort out any workable way out from the first ever real peril to the national security.
This was the scenario that Osamians disposed of Ahmad Shah Masood of the now so-called northern alliance, (was being nourished by hindus in bharat) - and as such this give an overwhelming edge to Osama. Then something impossible, the eventful event of 9/11 was made possible. Now I can’t say solemnly that whether or not Osama was responsible for the same, but what one can infer is that had Osama not been responsible for the 9/11 - then his so absconding in the wake of the longest hosting and hospitality of Taliban, was something for which a person of Osama’s caliber and stature could not be expected.
Anyhow,
· Pakistan’s forex were at the lowest ebb, 500 millions US $.
· Pakistan was under the harshest sanctions of assortment from the countries of assortment (i.e. US, RF, EU, Japan, Commonwealth etc etc) for the reasons of assortment e.g. sanctions imposed on account of Geneva accord, for nuclear blasts, for coup of 1999 etc etc.

· The utopian Muslim Ummah was under the deep slumber rather under the severe coma and shock.
Now hold your horses! Powel asked president Musharraf “vigorously” and positively – but president Musharraf also replied “vigorously” and positively - and things were sorted out as how to be carried out. Now see the outcome:
1. Bharat was thrown out of the game altogether and the old hungry bulky fox were just fixed to the borders – and the water begins to drool and slobber from her mouth since then up till now.
2. The US took the u-turn and by lifting the countless sanctions - the aids of assortment started to pour in Pakistan.
3. The EU countries took the u-turn and followed the same course.
4. The Japan took the u-turn and paid the aid with all arrears.
5. The Australia took the u-turn and followed the same course.
6. The Canada took the u-turn and followed the same course.
7. Pakistan became hub of shape taking of the high-class strategies.
8. The taboo Military equipments, choppers, aircrafts of assortment started pouring in Pakistan.
9. Pakistan’s skill to nab the terrorists was improved.
10. The cracks down on money laundering centers were given effect to very effectually and as such foreign remittance were started flooding to Pakistan.

14. Pakistan availed the multiple and valuable chances to enlightened the world of Kashmir dispute and to give new life to the Kashmir dispute at the world highest forums - and the Bharat took the u turn by willing to negotiate on Kashmir.
15. Pakistan got rid of Talibanism without a using a single bullet or facing any other collateral damage.
16. Pakistan’s trade with Afghanistan of Taliban was worth 3.00 million US$ - whereas now it has touched 288.3 million US $.
17. The UN is providing funding for the phase out expatriation Afghani refugees from Pakistan.
18. World various financial Institutions providing valuable aid for the education, social sector, health, justice, roads etc etc.
19. Pakistan was requested respectfully to join ASEAN for the first time.
20. Pakistan became the de facto bridge, spokesman between the Muslim World and the west.
And I cannot forget the scenes when the Bharat took the u-turn and ordered their forces to pull back their poor armed forces after thinking for the long 10 months to do or not to do.
Now tell me who took the u-turn?
