Israel Recognition!
President Gen Musharraf while responding to a question in an interview on Geo TV about Pakistan’s policy on Israel said simply - that whenever the Palestinians independent state would be established then Pakistan might review her policy on Israel after consultation with the brotherly Arab states. And he also elaborated further that all this deliberation must not be done with emotionalism - and this was the whole story. But the way, in which the most responsible leaders of the MMA are out to exploit this, it is highly irresponsible. Apart from President Gen Musharraf’s vision in his utterance, no blockade can be imposed on expression. ‘They’ just want to mum the mouths, ban the brains and shut the eyes if they are saying, thinking and viewing things in other way than ‘them.’ Thus what is wrong in reviewing the policy on Israel after an independent Palestine state would be established and the remaining Arab states including the Palestine would also recognize the Israel? Now what is the vision in recognition of Israel in the aforementioned situation? Once the Kashmir Dispute was resolved the entire pressure of the United States and United Europe shall be focused on Pakistan‘s nuclear assets at the behest of Israel - thus the harder the Pakistan would hit the Israel the harder she would react against Pakistan. And thus if Israel would be recognized in the previously indicated circumstances then she may be dealt with more friendly. And the last but not the least whether Israel has been more ‘different’ in rivalry with Pakistan than the India, Iran and Afghanistan, so far as the Pakistan’s stakes are concerned?
