Bangladeshi Genocide of the Nineties

I am a college student assigned the topic of The Bangladeshi Genocide. My goal is to see this topic as best as possible through the eyes of Bangladeshi citizen and/or individuals that know and have ties to these events. Here is my assignment:
THE TWENTIETH CENTURY HAS WITNESSED SEVERAL INCIDENTS OF HORRENDOUS MURDEROUS SPREES AND SEVERAL GENOCIDES. YOUR GROUP WILL PRODUCE TWO PIECES OF WORK CONCERNING THE BANGLADESHI GENOCIDE THAT TOOK PLACE DURING THE NINETIES.

I am not aware of any Bangali genocide having taken place during the nineties. Perhaps you speak of the Liberation War of 1971 and the subsequent Pakistani/Islamist genocide of Bangali ppls?

maybe its that stuff about the people who live in the chittagong hill tracts? i wouldnt call that genocide though... more repeated isolated incidents.

So what some intelligence agency is involved directly - the intelligence agency did not murder those people. It was Pakistani forces.

Yes, finally I agree with you, it's the "Pakistani/Islamist" genocide that occured in 1971.

That number is plain lie and exaggeration on part of some Bengladeshi nationalists and Indians. This number has never been confirmed by any neutral source.

I said that earlier and I say it again:

Sure many Pakistani soldiers killed Bangalis during that time. They even raped many women. It was sad and criminalistic, and people who did it deserve punishment.

But are you guys sure there is no exaggeration in these figures? 3 million killed?

If Pakistan Army killed them in "millions" then where did those hundreds of mass graves go? I know of some mass-graves, but I am talking about 3 million people.
