Does anyone know what the this great ancient civilastaion was how advanced our ancient people were? The civilasation mainly centred around areas in Mohejodaro and harapa, now in present day pakistan, were so advanced that they built the first houses with its own bathromm and toilet and that was more than 5 thousand years ago! Their 'language' still hasn't been decipherd. So we still can understand a lot more.

Their advanced town planing with grid lines was way ahead of its time. They built massive cities with houese, public baths, efficient draining systems, wide streets and many more. Their civilsation lasted for than a thousand years then nobody knows how it came to an end, though experts think a big flood might have destroyed it.

It's a shame that this unique and advanced civilasation has not been widely publicized in Pakistan, where the majority of the sites are.

True that

yeah shunar, the mighty Indus could very well have been the cause for theextinction of such a great civilization.
They do have an entire chapter in 8th standard History in India about it, including pictures of the cities.
In a broader view, its a pity that South Asian countries couldnt benefit from their great town planning. How messed up our cities are is not a difficult question to answer.
