ofcoarse we have a government of our own. It's made differently then the American one too.

On the top is the Queen, though she has no real power.
Then it's the Governor General, she has limited power and it's just for show. Our governor genearal is Adrienne Clarckson. GGs are appointed by the Queen.

Next we have the Prime Minister, Jean Chretien, who is the power holder basically.
Then we have the House of Commons. The people who represent house of Commons are called PMs. These people are elected and represent certain areas. They all represent the same amount of people. We have 131 PMs right now.

Any descision is made by voting and PMs vote. Most PMs are Liberal because they are the party which won the election and so generally since they have more people they get the descicion made as they want it.

This must be boring so I'll stop here.

I just wanted to make clear that Canada is a country of it's own and makes it's own descicions.
