Hello, Bangladesh.com. members I hope to enjoy this website. The front cover is very beautiful and the political and other discussions are lively and have plenty of interesting topics. I am not Bangladeshi but I hope to contribute my grain of sand. I am Puerto Rican and speak Spanish and English and some other languages I will keep under raps.lol. Anyway hope to meet interesting folks and get myself an education on Bangladeshi culture.

Amor,

Bengali_Tigress. I thought the name would be cute!

in my life. I was born in Puerto Rico (it is a Caribbean island in the West Indies [greater antilles]) and now I live in the USA (but not for long), I long to go back home soon. I love everything about South Asian cultures. Such long histories, traditions, excellent food, customs and incredible diversity of thought, religions, languages and yet all occupy an ancient land. It is also a place who has suffered enormously. But being from a tiny place that has never been allowed to be independent (it was either Spain and then USA) making all of our important decisions for us [for their own benefit of course as all bully countries do.lol] I like and appreciate countries who are not the richest in money on planet earth, but have a lot of cultural riches (such as Bangladesh).

Amor y saludos y besos de parte de

La Tigresa.

Smile Hola Abby from Blackburn!

I see many people on this site are from the UK and its environs. Greetings to all. My second cousin visited London and ate almost everyday food from India and Bangladesh. I assume there is a diversity of people in London all related to the Union Jack's history of "Imperialism". Lol. Anyway Abby if you want to say "I love you" to your girlfriend in Spanish there are many ways, I will propose three and you choose which one you would like to use ok? I will include a pronunciation key so you sound like a native speaker too!! Here goes:

1)Te amo.....(Tay AAH-MOW).

2)Te quiero...(Tay KIE-ro)roll the r with gusto.

3)Te adoro....(Tay ah-DOUGH-RO).

Or you could say all three phrases and make her happy. I got married to the most beautiful man in the world when I was 18 years old. It is 17 years later and I am still blissfully married to him after all these years. I tell him all three phrases with a lot of sincerity. El Amor es lo mas divino en el mundo. Love is the most divine thing in the world. Good Luck, Abby.

La Tigresa.

Well, enjoy your stay Tigress, ....one advice, if u wanna keep thinking we are "good", dont step into Personals. All your perceptions about us will change. But, than again..No one is perfect.

Anyway...Have fun & welcome
