Hello Bangladesh Community

i am a convert to Islam and have publicly declared my faith at Al-Azhar Mosque in Cairo. In other words I have made a serious effort to learn about Islam and the believers of Islam. Around six years ago i visited Bangladesh - it literally changed my life and it is with absolute earnestness that i say that this too brief time was the most enriching period of my life. I salute you the people of Bangladesh - you have more humanity than all the other 'first' world countries combined. I turn to you again........
i have a small business in Australia and need to grow and would like to open a kind of trade relation with Bangladesh. My intention - inshallah is to make enough money to one day build something very beautiful and useful in Bangladesh maybe an orphanage as i love children. The advice i need is a recommendation from respectable people with which i can buy jewellery. (by jewellery i mean jewellery as a whole from costume to solid gold pieces). I am just one woman looking to success my life and i have no connections with companies and etc. in fact i don't like big companies. I have spent time in 'third world' countries & i am very aware of being cheated etc. etc. that is why i have approached the Bangladesh community........if you could possibly give me some advice in this area and recommendations from well intentioned, sincere and honest persons.......inshallah we can all make a difference in this life!

Hi Yvonne,

Now im not doubting what you have said or written, but you do know there are a lot of Nigerian scam emails going around similiar to what you have written?

Anyway, if you are serious about starting a business there are more appropriate means/channels of help and support. A good starting point would be the Australian consulate and misson to bangaldesh for advice.

Let us know how you get on.

M.
