I´m new here

I just signed up today and thought I´d say hi to all of ya. The reason I´m here, is that I lived in Bangladesh for two years and loved it. I enjoyed travelling around the country, meeting lots of frendly Bangladeshies and eating Bangla food (which I´ve learned to cook myself now).

Anyway, I´m from Norway (but born in Iceland - thereby the name) but currently living and studying in Germany.

...... are you ethnically bangladeshi, or european? i couldnt quite figure it out from your message..... i have an english friend who lived in bangladesh for 10 years because her father worked for the british embassy out there..... she opened my eyes a lot to the way that bangladesh has been developing recently.... i was shocked by some of her stories (i live in the UK and have only been to bdesh once in my life for 6 years so dont have a clue what it is really like).... it would be good to hear about your experiences there!

anisa22: I´m not ethnically bangladeshi, but I´m married to a bangladeshi and that´s why I lived there for a couple of years. I actually married the first day I arrived in Bangladesh for the first time in my life. My husbans´s family welcommed me with open arm and I also found people in general to be very hospitable. I worked in an Embassy in Dhaka and met a lot of people through my job. I often miss Bangladesh and hope that I can live there for a couple of years sometime later in my life.
angeleyes: I´m from Trondheim (which is in the middle of Norway). Now I live close to Heidelberg in Germany. It´s a really beautiful place, especially now in the summer (winter sucks here cause it rains most of the time)
SNOOP_KUTHA: I like it here already (I´m a slightly deranged myself sometimes actually)

So you r fromm germany, well I used to live near the mountains in austria too! i miss that noe.everything here is tooo stuffy and small. No open spaces were you just tak a walk.
