Well it just gets me mad that when people come here from Bangladesh they try to fit in and start acting like all Americans. They start saying God instead of Allah and stuff like that. I mean yeah you have to adopt to this culture to fit in but don't forget where you came from, and your background. To be honest nothing's more sad than that.

I think same saying goes for some British bangladeshis aswell actually. Not jus those who migrated to America and start cussing others. True what you said. I think they actually fail to understand their faith/culture.

Nothing wrong in saying God but the reason why we say Allah in Islam rather cos God can be made feminine/plural etc like Godess and Godling *astaghfirullah*

I would have to disagree with you. Because to my knowledge Allah has many names and God isn't one of them, therefore you can't say God when you'r reffering to Allah .

yea Allah (swt) has 99 names with beautiful meanings like Ar-Rahman which means The MOst Companissionate (and the recitation of His names extends to more meanings/blessings). Didnt really think of it deeply about using God jus said the reason why some may say it cos they think its the equivalent saying of Allah but like i said we say Allah beacuse it cannot be changed if you get what i mean.

True, no word in the world can surround or describe the real meaning of Allah.
