One thing I noticed about my Canadien friends is that they can name there great great great great... uncle or someone like that. They know who were the first relative who immigrated to Canada from Ireland were. My point is I noticed that we Bangalies don't realy keep our family tree like that. Mostly I see a couple great grand-pa's they know about and that is usualy the oldest. I wish bangalies valued knowing about there ancesters more. I would have realy liked to know like if I have a Arabian ancester or something. Do any of you know about your ancester?

Hey finaly someone answer! Iv seen only my moms dad but I feel like I'v seen my dads dad too because I'v seen so many of his pictures and video. My Dada died before I was born and my Nana died when I was five or six. My Nani lives with us and my Dadi visits us almost every year from Bangladesh. I know considirably more compared to you, sometime my Nani talks about her mom and things. In our family taking pictures and vedio taping is a big thing so we got tons and I mean tons of pictures. My dad says we are lucky because most kids don't have so many childhood photoes or so many grand-ma grand-pa and even greatgrand father pictures.

My GreatGrandfather, my Nana's dad is still alive. Have seen and talked to him.
My GreatGrandMother, my nani's side is also alive. She actually raised my Nani after her own mother died. On my Dad's side, know the name of his GrandFather's name: It was Jonny Sarkar (Jonny I believe was the shortened form of Jainuddin).
