Recently I came across a southasian online magazine with wedding resources. In their Muslims wedding menu they included fish as our wedding item. I have attended lots of wedding of friends and families never found fish.

Here goes a typical Bangldeshi wedding menu

Borhani or Lassi
Cucumber and tomato Salad
Alu Chaps [appetizer]
[Main dishes]
Tehari or Pulao
Chiken Q roast
Rezala
[dessert]
Zarda/Sweet yogurt/other form of sweets
For groom & friends [Whole chiken or goat or lamb roast]
Pan

If anybody ever did fish was an attempt to make it one of a kind[I never came across] which cannot be considered as culture or mass Bnagldeshi muslims wedding practice.

However I ran into website of Begalis of india follower of one of the predominant religioin there having fish as there wedding and different festival's item. Though I cannot be sure about someone's culture.

A misrepresentation of Bangldeshi muslim culture!
