I am origonally of Bangladeshi origin, and my parents used to cook fantastic fish curries with traditional fish.
I used to remember having great fish called Khoi, Rohu, Pabda, Elisha, Bwal etc...
Only problem is, I do not know the english names for any of these fish, nor what the english names of common bangladeshi fish are? Could anyone help with identification? I would be forever grateful. Also, does anyone out there have any fish recipies, or know any dishes specific to Jogon-Natpur in Sunam Gonj?
