Salaams to all, i just thought i would pass this on to you, you may already
knows these things but theres no harm in being reminded! inshAllah even if we
do our daily routines according to the way shown by our Holy Prophet (saw)
then it will be deemed as an act of worship.

may Allah give us the tawfiq to carry out these actions

desired manners of eating & drinking

Wash your hands before and after taking your meals and cleanse your mouth.
When you start eating, recite
*Bismillah -i- wa Ala Barakatillah
I start in the name of Allah and upon the Blessing of Allah
Eat always with your right hand
Always eat from your corner of the dish, except that dish contains various
species.
Always use Table Cloth (Sufrah)

Do not put your hands in the middle of the dish for, *it is the middle where
descends the Divine Blessing.

Clean your dish well and do not leave particles of food in it for Satan. *The
dish also prays to Allah for your Requital from Hell.

Do not wash straightaway your hands after the meal is over, but first lick up
the fingers, *if they bear some of the food and then wash the hands, for, *a
Hadith states.

You do not know which portion of the food is blessed.

Always use three fingers while eating.

Should a morsel slip away and fall down, do not leave it for Satan, *pick it
up and eat it after cleaning or washing.

Do not eat while relaxing on a pillow or something else, in a proud manner.

If you like a food take it and if you do not, abstain, but do never find
faults in a food.

Try to take meals etc. *always together.
Hazrat Anas (Radiyallahu Taala Anhu) says that he saw Hazrat Mohammed
(Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) eating while he sat on his feet.
While eating pieces of a sweetmeals or date (etc) do not take two pieces (or
dates) in a single morsel except with the permission of your colleagues.

Should you forget to recite *Bismillah in the beginning recite whenever you
recollect.
Bismillah Awal o Akhir
I start it in the name of Allah and I finish it in the name of Allah.

Do not eat onion ( or some other bad smelling article) in a mosque, *but do
not enter a mosque even if you had taken it outside and wait till the bad
smell vanishes away from your mouth and hands.

When you finish your meal, recite
Alhamdullilah hil lazi Ataamana wa Saqaana wa Jaalana Minul Muslemeen.
Praise be to Allah, Who fed us and gave us drink and raised up us as Muslims.

When you finish eating, first remove the Sufrah (the cloth and dishes) and
then get up.

Do not take too hot food.

Should you feel satisfied before your colleagues do not leave the
table(Sufrah) till they finish, *try to accompany them, **However, *if there
is some urgency you may get up with their permission.

When you take water or some other thing begin it with Bismillah and finish it
with Alhamdullilah For milk, *recite after drink
Allahumma Barik Lana Feehey Wa Zidna Minhu.
O, my Allah ! *Bless the (milk) for us and grant us more of it.

Always drink water while sitting with right hand and in three pauses. *Do not
drink it in one breath like a camel.

While drinking do not breath in the glass or the cup.

If the glass or cup etc. is broken, *do not drink from the broken edge.

Cleanse your mouth after drinking milk and recite the above prayer.

Very good!
One thing u 4got 2 clarify is the fact that while eating with your right hand u can't pick your glass up with that hand so u pick it up with left hand and put the back of your rite hand underneath the glass.Phew! thats a long sentence.
