Its dried fish and there r different types. It is a kind of Bangladeshi delicacy kind of like caviar. Only some people can cook it nicely.One type of Shutki is Hidol

I am sorry. But Hidol is arrgg, its not even dried fish. It is fosail mass (half digested fish). It can't be healthy for ya. It must be some kind of drug, some people(specially ladies) are addicted to it.

shootkie is dead decayed fish, no wonder the flys love it and it has that awaful smell.
